trany plugs

I do not understand this sign:

Trany Plugs, $3 each
I do not think it means the same thing in my world as in theirs.... In fact, I am not at all sure what it means in their world. (Any help for the weirded-out?)

    Think it has possibly something to do with transmissions.........though, I can't confirm that, where the hell was this?

    I ... have no idea. Transmissions are the only thing I can think of too, but I didn't think transmission plugs looked anything like those crappy plastic tubes that they're selling.... ??? Maybe it's something else entirely?
